Kyrgyzstan Positions Tamchy on the Global Investment Map at AIM Congress in Dubai
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) –
The Tamchy Special Financial and Investment Territory (Tamchy SFIT) strengthened its international profile at the 15th edition of AIM Congress in Dubai, where it participated as an Official Gala Dinner Sponsor and presented its proposition as a new financial jurisdiction connecting global capital with opportunities across Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
Led by Ayaz Baetov, Chairman of the Board of Tamchy, the Kyrgyz delegation held dozens of senior level meetings with government representatives, financial institutions, international organizations, and prominent business leaders from across the region. Tamchy also maintained a visible presence at the main entrance of Dubai World Trade Centre through a dedicated display introducing the financial center and its principal features to the international business and investment community.
The delegation participated in several flagship events, including the Opening Ceremony and the official Gala Dinner on 7 September. Addressing attendees, Baetov praised the UAE’s role in advancing international investment dialogue and reaffirmed the Kyrgyz Republic’s commitment to expanding practical economic cooperation with countries across the region.
Tamchy officials held discussions with a group of investment chairmen and regional corporate leaders, with a dedicated engagement track focused on building relationships with international financial centers and regional business institutions.
During the meetings, Tamchy’s leadership presented the legal and institutional framework underpinning the new jurisdiction. Based on English common law principles, the model includes an independent regulator, an independent court, digital administrative services, and a dedicated tax regime designed to meet the requirements of international investors and institutions.
The delegation sought to establish direct connections with Gulf financial centers, exchange best practices, and strengthen cooperation with business associations and federations. International companies were invited to explore opportunities in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia and consider Tamchy as an additional jurisdiction that complements their existing Gulf operations while supporting wider regional expansion.
